watercolour paint, limpet shells & a lot of water sprayed on to create flow patterns
Work in progress, masking fluid
using masking fluid to draw details; paint in background then rub off masking fluid to reveal pristine white paper ready to paint in details.
Letting it flow
letting the materials do the work, setting up the right conditions for 'happy accidents' to happen
Using materials from a particular location
experimenting with using ground slate from Easdale, Argyll
